4 - Easy steps to place your dive centre clearly on the eLearning map
If you haven’t placed the
eLearning link onto your web site, then you're missing great opportunities to
gain more customers! You may have received eLearning customers through the PADI
Dive Centre Search facility on PADI.com, however, you can also allow customers
who visit your site to register as a eLearner directly with you, without the
need to search for your dive centre. You can also customise the eLearning site
that your customers see, to represent your Dive Centre.
Please follow these instructions to place the eLearning link onto your
web site;1. Select an image from the eLearning toobox
within the PADI Pros web site. Place the image in the folder where you store
the images for your website. Take note of the path to this image.2. Replace the line /INPUT_YOUR_IMAGE_PATH_HERE/ with the image path you
noted in step 1.3. Replace the numbers 123456 in the code (below) with your PADI Store
Number.4. Save your page, test and publish to your site
According to the Fourth Quarter 2008 PADI eLearning Exit Survey, having a highly visible PADI eLearning link on your website - both on the homepage and course pages - is the top way customers find your dive centre.
With exit surveys showing
that 94 percent of participants would recommend the PADI Open Water Diver
CourseOnline to their friends,
this PADI program is an obviously popular and effective way to get new divers. But, PADI eLearning isn't
just about acquiring new divers - it's a significant retention tool as well.
The same exit surveys also show that more than 93 percent of PADI eLearners
would continue their dive education online. That means you can retain divers by
taking advantage of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course Online. If you are still uncertain on how to place the link on your site,
customise eLearning to promote your centre, or just want to find out more,
please visit the IRRA section on eLearning on the PADI Pros website, or
alternatively, drop me an email with your query atterry.johnson@padi.co.uk
