EVE Tips from actual users – Tip #1, Use the Auto Email Agent

Imagine having an employee that works all day and night, never complains, never forgets to send an email and does exactly what you tell them to do.

As a Dive Centre Owner, such an employee would be an invaluable asset.

Well imagine no more! As part of the EVE package you have such an employee. She works tirelessly searching your database for customers to mail information to. And all it takes is a once off set up and before you know it you will be next to the pool sipping Pina Colodas whilst EVE does all the marketing work for you.

At first, I was not sure that I would be able to get it all set up, but with a bit of guidance from the guys at ISSYS I was good to go. The set up is really very simple and even the most basic computer user will be able to do it.

There are a number of email templates in EVE for you to use to get started with. These include sending customers personalised birthday messages on their birthday, reminding them that their equipment is due for a service, congratulating them on their new certification or thanking them for their purchase at your store.

PADI and ISSYS have also drawn up email templates for students completing the various courses. Once a student completes a course you can set the Auto Email Agent to automatically send an email telling them about the next course they should do. These reminders can be sent out at any time interval as determined by you from monthly to six monthly. All the mails will be personalised in that they will be addressed to the person they are being sent out to, so no worries of spam filters and the likes. The beauty of it all is that once it has been set up once you no longer have anything to do besides wait for the courses and orders come rolling in.

I have been using the Auto Mail function for the past six months and I can see an increase of over 25% in new courses as a direct result of customers replying to the auto mail. I have just signed up to have ISSYS host my Auto Mail function and now I have complete peace of mind that whilst I am sipping Pina Coladas EVE is marketing for me.
